Beyond Disney

On February 24, 2004 Shawn and I embarked on our first ever vacation together. Our destination? Walt Disney World Florida. Where the sun should have shone and the weather should have been warm. Well, we did have sun, once in a while. But the temperature really wasn't all that warm. One day it even got as low as 2°C(37°F)!! There was windchill! There should not be windchill in Florida. Not while I am on vacation there, anyhow! But we did have some good days, although we never wore shorts and were always in sweaters. It was very good walking weather (if you didn't mind some rain) and that was perfect since we did a LOT of walking. We had 5 and a half very fun and packed days while we were there. I've scanned most of our pictures (the ones worth seeing, anyhow) and have them here for you all to enjoy.

The above photo was taken in the Magic Kingdom on our second full day in Disney World. We probably spent way more money on souvenirs and photos than we should have, but hey, for us it's a once in a life time thing and we really wanted to remember it! You can't tell, but Shawn is wearing a very cool bowling shirt that has Grumpy (the dwarf) on it and it says "Grumpy's Tavern" on it and he's holding a beer. OK, well it's a root beer, but we call it as we see it. :)
